QI GMD Mr. Vijay Eswaran presents Ronaldinho with the Man of the Match Award02 June 2006- After a week of training and team-bonding in the town of Weggis, situated high in the Swiss Alps, World Champions Brazil took to the field in Basel last night in the first of their QUESTNET co-sponsored matches in the build up to the World Cup. Taking on a Swiss XI in front of a packed stadium of 30,000+ fans, the World Champions were in championship form as they cruised to an 8-0 victory helped by a man of the match performance from Ronaldinho.
Such an inspirational performance impressed all of the QI, QN and V Directors as well as AVP’s, VP’s and IRs from all over the world and earned the FIFA World Player of the Year yet another honour as he was presented with the QUESTNET Man of the Match Award by QI GMD Mr Vijay Eswaran.
